How to Connect Your Garmin to Walkingspree
Step 1: Install the Walkingspree App
- Download and install the Walkingspree app from the Google Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS).
Step 2: Open the Walkingspree App
- Open the app and go to the menu.
- Tap on My Devices.
Step 3: Select Garmin
- Choose Garmin from the list of available devices.
Step 4: Confirm Selection
- Tap on OK to proceed.
Step 5: Log in to Your Garmin Account
- Enter your Garmin email and password to sign in.
Step 6: Allow Data Sharing
- Make sure the toggle for "Daily Health Stats" is turned ON.
- Tap Save.
Step 7: Accept Terms
- Click on Agree to confirm.
Step 8: Complete the Setup
- Tap Done to finish the setup process.
- After completing the steps above, return to the Walkingspree dashboard and wait a few seconds. Your Garmin steps should now sync automatically.
- Walkingspree will periodically sync data from Garmin throughout the day.
- If you want to force a sync, tap the Steps Sync option at the top right of the page.
Troubleshooting Steps Not Showing in Walkingspree
- Check Garmin First
- Open your Garmin mobile app or visit the Garmin desktop site.
- If steps are not showing in Garmin, the issue is between your Garmin device and Garmin (not Walkingspree).
- Ensure that your Bluetooth is ON for syncing.
- Step Differences Between Walkingspree & Garmin
- GPS-based activities (like running) will not transfer steps to Walkingspree. Only step-based tracking is supported.
- Some Garmin devices do not track steps and rely solely on GPS—these devices are not compatible with Walkingspree.
