No active Walkingspree account is associated with your upload key

To resolve this error:

Go to the little blue Walkingspree icon in your lower right desktop. Right click with your mouse:

Select "Tools-View Profiles". In the profile window, select your profile and delete it. Unplug the pedometer and make sure the time and steps are displaying then plug the pedometer back into the computer and confirm that the pedometer display shows PC on it.. You should get a pop up window on your computer asking for your username and password. This will reattach your profile to your account.
