Looking up the calorie count of food items and keeping a daily food journal is easy using the Walkingspree Food Tracker, a calorie and nutritional database containing more than 65,000 generic, brand-name, fast-foods and restaurant items. And if you want to keep tabs on your daily intake of sodium, fat, or other nutritional items, the Food Tracker is a handy tool.
This is the second in a series of tutorials on using the Food Tracker. This tutorial will show you how to create a custom meal in your Food Tracker.
Another resource to understanding how calories affect weight loss and how to use Food Tracker, is Walkingspree's "Understanding your calories IN versus your calories OUT".
Making your own Custom Meal
You can group food items to make your own meal. This will speed up your time using the Food Tracker on a regular basis. If you eat a tuna sandwich for lunch regularly, there is no need to add all the ingredients separately each day when you can simply create a "Tuna Sandwich" meal with all the ingredients.
